WASHING YOUR CASHMERE
Remove any pilling before washing (see below). It is best to wash your cashmere knitwear inside out by hand. However, a washing machine can be used if a 'wool' or 'hand' wash is selected with a low spin speed. Only use a liquid detergent recommended for Wool and Silk. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric conditioner. Reshape whilst damp and dry flat out of direct sunlight. If necessary cool iron on reverse. Washing will make your cashmere even softer!
WHAT IF MY KNITWEAR STARTS TO PILL
The natural characteristics of cashmere may cause your garment to pill (produce small bobbles). A cashmere comb or pumice stone can be used to remove any surface pilling and washing will help remove the residual pilling.
CARING FOR YOUR SILK TRIM CASHMERE CARDIGAN
Wash your cashmere cardigan as above. If necessary gently steam iron cardigan on reverse and iron silk trim on a moderate setting over a cotton cloth.
