Caring for your Knitwear

How to look after your garments

Washing your Cashmere and Yak Knitwear

Remove any pilling before washing (see below). Misty Cashmere knitwear can be washed by hand or in a washing machine if a 'wool' wash cycle is selected with a low spin speed and low water temperature. Only use a liquid detergent recommended for wool. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric conditioner. Reshape whilst damp and dry flat out of direct sunlight. Washing will make your cashmere or yak even softer!

What if my Knitwear starts to Pill

The natural characteristics of cashmere and yak may cause your garment to pill (produce small bobbles). A cashmere comb or pumice stone can be used to remove any surface pilling and washing will help remove the residual pilling.
